Shannon Pickerill

Longridge

Shannon is a Solicitor based at our Longridge Office. Shannon has experience in a variety of practice areas and is currently working in our Private Client department, whilst assisting with Family Law, Litigation and Tenancy matters. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys keeping active by going bouldering, playing hockey and hiking in the great outdoors. She also enjoys playing music and spending time with family and friends.

Tony Thurnhill

Garstang & Longridge

Joseph Anthony Thurnhill a Partner and Solicitor qualified in 1974 after being articled to his brother John in the family firm. In spite of gaining a Distinction in Criminal Law, Tony throughout his time as a student and Partner has been involved mainly with private client work associated with conveyancing, leases, Wills and probate, continuing the close relationship with clients already created by his father and brother.

Marcus Thurnhill

Garstang & Longridge

Marcus George Thurnhill is a Solicitor and Partner in the firm. He studied at Hull University and the College of Law in York. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2001, having previously worked for a national firm in Leeds. Marcus deals with litigation and dispute resolution with a particular interest in matrimonial, co-habitation law and property ownership issues. Marcus is a member of Resolution and as such is committed to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way. Marcus is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer. This is a new approach to family disputes and involves couples working with their lawyers, all together in the same room, to reach agreement without the need for costly and stressful court battles. Adam Thurnhill

Garstang & Longridge

Adam Thurnhill is a Solicitor and Partner in the firm and is based in our Garstang Office. Following the completion of his Law Degree Adam studied for his Legal Practice Qualification at the College of Law in York. He previously worked for two North West firms in the Manchester area. Adam joined Thurnhills in 2006 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. Adam deals with a wide range of Private Client matters including Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills and related property matters.

Emma Taylor

Longridge

Emma is a Solicitor based at our Longridge office. Emma gained a degree in French and English at the University of Manchester before attaining the Common Professional Examination Law Conversion and Legal Practice courses at the University of Central Lancashire. Emma completed her training contract with a firm in Greater Manchester, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007. As a newly qualified Solicitor, she began her career with a Lancashire firm, where she worked for 8 years before joining Thurnhills in 2015. Emma deals with Private Client matters, in particular Wills, Trusts and Probate.

Aaron Flynn

Longridge

Aaron is a Trainee CILEX Paralegal based at our Longridge office. Aaron graduated from Lancaster University in 2020 with a 2.1 (BA Hons) in Politics and opted to study with the CILEX training scheme in January 2023, and joined our firm in May 2023. Aaron is primarily trained in Conveyancing, but can also advise on Private Client matters such as Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Aaron is a fan of cinema and music, and his favourite novel series is the Flashman Papers.
